With a bit of luck, the summer can hold a nice opportunity. And we’re talking for the diehard music fan who likes to catch a great club show now and then in these months. This time it’s Unearth that has the honor. Metalcore stalwarts of the first generation and still relevant after a quarter of a century (listen to their brand new Ep ‘Bark In The Blood Of Our Demons’). Good Metalcore is in our opinion always the outcome of simple formula: take a good dose of the genuine hardcore attitude and mix it up with some high end metal riffology and there you go. Unearth from Boston Massachusetts scores an A-level on both qualities.

In the holiday season we like to take our decisions a bit easier, also in chosing the supports for a new show. In this case, we selected two bands who can throw a real metalcore party. We deem it to be necessary to digest Unearth’s guitar violence afterwards. First band is the slightly melodic Titans. These guys won the jury prize recently on the Wacken pre selection battle to illustrate our point. The other band is the brutal deathcore combo Straight To The Bar, whom you might recognize from the ‘Face Your Underground cd’s. Their name might be a sunny suggestion folks.�
